Standard-Knapp, a global leader in the manufacture of innovative packaging machinery, is celebrating its 130th anniversary by showcasing four machines at Pack Expo International, taking place November 3-6, 2024, in Chicago, IL.

The scale of the planned exhibit doubles the company’s typical two-machine display. In addition, the complement of equipment represents all business units of S-K’s international parent company, EOL Packaging Experts.

The following pieces of equipment will be shown in Booth N-5506:

  • Robotic palletizer from A+F Automation (Kirchlengern, Germany)
  • FlexLine delta robot packer, also built by A+F
  • Unipack 2.0 pick-and-place case packer from BMS (Pfatter, Germany)
  • High-speed servo laner from Standard-Knapp (Portland, Connecticut)
  • Conveyor system from NEO Conveying Intelligence (Porto, Portugal)

The laner, packer, palletizer and conveyors comprise an integrated package purchased by renowned soap maker Dr. Bronner’s and will continue to the customer’s California facility following the show. Standard-Knapp plans to showcase these machines together to highlight the company’s ability to provide integrated end-of-line solutions.

“With the broad scope of equipment available through its EOL partnerships, Standard-Knapp can now provide turnkey end-of-line solutions to its customers,” remarked Vice President of Sales & Marketing Mario Mazzotta.

Pack Expo International will also mark the first demonstration of a palletizer or FlexLine by Standard-Knapp, as well as its new custom conveyor systems, and the Chicago debut of the company’s fully updated booth display.
