With the Contiflex packaging system with integrated multiformer, A+F Automation + Fördertechnik GmbH will present a highly interesting machine development at Fachpack in Nuremberg from 27 to 29 September 2022. Its field of application is the packaging of plastic bottles in open trays in a continuous process that is gentle on the product.
The machine can process bottled spice sauces, milk-based drinks, cold coffee drinks, smoothies and liquid or pasty products in so-called squeeze bottles, such as honey.
The machine is based on the proven Contiflex packer. This picks up twelve bottles at a time in line tracking and places them in the waiting glued trays. The cycle time is three seconds
The maximum output is thus 240 bottles per minute. The multiformer required for producing the open trays is integrated into the machine frame to save space. Its output is up to 40 trays per minute.
The multiformer can be used flexibly in terms of format via format parts. The same applies to the entire line, which can also be quickly converted for a wide variety of applications using format sets. This makes it a future-proof machine concept in view of the rapidly changing market requirements. In general, the packaging system is safe and easy to operate via servo technology and manual adjustments.
